SHIFTING BOUNDARIES

Big Bang Association organizes meetings where small groups of emerging and established artists present their work and at least one project still at the conceptual stage.

Shifting boundaries is a creativity and knowledge lab where young artists can explore their intuitions and ideas. Through these encounters, Big Bang proposes new ways of expanding creativity by displacing its boundaries and conventions.

The verbalization of what does not yet exist and the translation of images into words can represent an important goal in one's creative process. The effort of explaining the unexplainable, of finding technical and/or formal solutions to concepts and ideas is a relevant one in the projecting and installation of new works of art.

Though the majority of artists create in the solitude of their own studios, the exchange of experiences represents an opportunity for exploring, deepening and discussing the overall visions of artistic experimentation aimed at a more profound perception of one's project planning.

Shifting boundaries is a laboratory where visions and experiences can be exchanged aimed at developing new ideas and synergies by confronting different approaches.
